Kenneth is the owner of Smart Retirement Strategies and the Financial Planner and Investment Adviser Representative for the team. With over 23 years of finance experience, Kenneth brings a long-view perspective to his clients. He specializes in retirement planning, specifically for people ages fifty plus. As a financial coach, he values education for clients so that they can comfortably participate in making decisions for their economic future.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kenneth grew up in a single income household with three other siblings. Kenneth understood at an early age the importance of money management for a family’s happiness. Watching his own mother struggle to pay the bills motivated Kenneth to provide all people, especially women, the strategies necessary to gain financial independence.
In addition to serving his clients, Kenneth continues to develop professionally. His passion for developing financially sound strategies for his clients motivates him to stay up to date on some of the best financial planning practices. He is currently studying towards his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.Kenneth has a Bachelor degree of Arts and Science from the University of Pittsburgh. He has earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations, and in 2014 he received his Retirement Incomd Certified Professional designation (RICP). He is involved in various professional organizations, including (NAIFA) National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
He and his wife Annette have two sons, Mark and Matthew. They are active in their community of Charlotte, North Carolina, where they’ve lived since 1995.
