Kimberly is a Financial Services Professional for Smart Retirement Strategies with a passion for Risk Management. Simplifying what may be overwhelming, she focuses on helping clients identify goals while assessing their needs and fears to develop a comprehensive financial strategy. She recognizes the fear that can hinder people from making economic choices and has the experience to help alleviate much of the anxiety that comes with life’s changes.
Kimberly comes to Smart Retirement Strategies with a breadth of knowledge in financial services. Her eight years of professional experience at Nationwide Financial, MetLife, Highland capital Brokerage and Principal Financial Group allowed her to develop and refine her skills. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree of Science and is currently completing the courses to earn the Chartered Life Underwriting (CLU) designation. Having raised three children (a doctor of physical therapy, a teacher, and a soon-to-be-commissioned Naval officer) while caring for her mother, who has dementia, Kimberly has accumulated a wide range of practical life experiences and knows the value of financial security. She has faced many of the situations her clients face now. As a result, her unique skill set enables her to relate to clients in meaningful ways and develop strategies essential for a successful retirement.
Kimberly is active in her local church community as well as the Isabella Santos Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping children who have cancer. Helping people create meaningful life plans brings her the greatest fulfillment.
